Musculoskeletal Exam
The optimal position for each rider must take into account the physical status, capabilities and limitations of the rider.
- "Problem Spots" will be evaluated during your musculoskeletal exam. For example, if you are having knee pain with your riding, we will do an in-depth evaluate of your knee.
- Joint and muscle movement and flexibility can have a large influence on the final position as we need to keep your cycling posture and movement within the capabilities of your joints and muscles. For example, if your position has too much drop, this can lead to low back and neck pain.
- Screening for musculoskeletal health: we will do a head-to-toe evaluation and provide feedback on next steps.
